School Pictures- creative scrappers

I have been in a scrappy mood this week, so  I am back with another one.  Gracie's school pictures came home the other day and they are just to wonderful not to scrap.

I used Creative Scrappers sketch 182 for this page.  I also did a challenge at ACOT - to use a die cut page (have had that pink die cut FOREVER and I am so glad that I finally used it), chipboard title, and a new scrappy supply- the punch.

My Creative Sketches- and two more

Hello again.  I am back with one new one and two I did a few weeks ago, but never shared.  The first one is from the sketch at My Creative Sketches.  They are - I think- affliated with My Creative Scrapbook which is a kit club I have been recieveing for the past year.  I used their November kit (lots of Bo Bunny goodness in it.)

Next I used Little Yellow Bicycle.  This was for the crop last month at ACOT and I scraplifted someone for it.

And lastly, is I do believe also from My Creative Scrapbook- the October kit.  But I could be wrong.  I used Crate Paper.

Two new ones

So I am back again, two days in a row, not to shabby.  I did two layouts recently and wanted to share them.

The first is layout is from a sketch at Creative Scrappers, sketch 180.  I loved it, started it, but didn't finish it until recently.  I used Echo Park on  it.
The second one is from the November kit at My Creative Scrapbook.  I also used the sketch they included in the kit.  Most everything on it is from Bo Bunny. It is me and hubby before we left the b&b went to for our anniversary in October.

And lastly I am going to be getting a box of paper together for a clean up/giveaway.  So check back soon please.

XOXO- November challenge

I have been a very bad blogger.  I know this and I am sorry about it.  But life has gotten a bit hectic.  And I took on some extra volunteer work with preschool, and yada yada yada.

So the Lipstick Chicks challenge  #23 went live nearly two weeks ago and I am just now getting around to sharing my page.  So here it is.  My two little ladies at Boo at the Zoo last month.

So there it is.  Remember XOXO is a scraplift challenge blog.  And there are a number of us lipstick chicks.  So pop over there and check it out and see what inspires you.

a few new ones

Here are a few pages I did this past weekend.

I used Simple Stories on this page.

I used Websters Pages on this one.  This is Bella's clubfeet doctor.  This was our last appointment with him for the year and the one where she graduated out of her boots and bars.  Now we just visit him on a yearly basis.

Yuki is a friend of ours.  Her father is the American ambassador to Albania.   Before Yuki and mother Ann left they gave the girls a ton of clothes.  Including these two bathing suits.  Each girl picked one and wore them all summer.
Used Echo Park on this page.

August Lucky Girl Kit pages

It is time for me to share my August Summer Shimmer creations.  I had so much fun with the August Lucky Girl Kit.  Honestly, I think it was one my all time favorites.

The first page I used the Scrappiest Sketch 132 for it.

And the page-maps sketch for the card.

There you have it.  Remember to visit Lucky Girls Craft to get you own Summer Shimmer kit.

Queen Zed- the scrappiest 133

Here is a pretty simple page I did yesterday of my cat Zed.  Gracie decided to dress her (yes, zed is a girl) up as a princess.  Well Zed is simply too old to be a princess, so a queen it is.

Used the Scrappiest 133.

smile- lucky girl fave five

Hey everyone,

I am here to share a layout I made with the August kit from Lucky Girl Crafts.  It is made with my five favorite items from this months kit.

My list is: masks, glimmer mist, brads, flowers, and the echo park paper.

Here is a picture with the entire kits.

This kit is fabulous, and I highly recommend getting one of you own asap, as supplies are limited.

santa's lap- a sketchy thursdays page

Some how I managed to actually do a sketch based on this weeks sketchy thursday sketch.  I almost always intend to do the sketch but usually don't have time or don't get it done in time.  Anyway, here it is- the photograph used it a terrible picture.  So I scanned it and made it black and white with a soft focus of color, so I could try to work with it.  It still is not good, and the photo of the layout is pretty bad too.  But I wanted to get it linked up in time so . . .

Used Bo Bunny on this one.

two more from me

Here are two more that I did for my BPS class, but hadn't photographed.

And the first one I used creative scrappers no. 167.
The challenge here was to use a photo strip.

The challenge for this one was to use multi photos and a bold colored background.

 Thanks for looking.

Page-maps layout, a challenge and a card

I have three new things to share with you all today.  First is for the page-maps monthly sketch challenge.

Second is for my BPS challenge class.  It was to use a street sign of some sort on the page.  This picture was from a birthday party that we attended.  There were ponies and a unicorn at the party and I was so worried about Gracie getting kicked because she is wild and would totally run behind a pony without a care.  Unfortunately I was so focused on the ponies that I didn't think about the other dangers, such as being run over by a barbie 4 wheeler.  Luckily she wasn't hurt and someone had a camera and managed to get the picture.

 (Echo Park on this page)

And lastly is a card. I am a terrible card maker, but I wanted to make a thank you card for my mil.  I do like the way it turned out.  And I used a card map sketch on here.

Three new ones for BPS

I am taking a Big Picture Scrapbooking Class.  It is being taught by the very talented Elizabeth Dillow and it is Design Challenges.  It consists of 12 challenges, issued every three days.  So far we have had 5 challenges and I have done three of them. So without futher ado, here they are

First challenge was to adapt a familiar form on a page.  i used the logo for the united states post office.  Now this was not the way I had planned for it to come out, but that happens sometimes.

Challenge #3 was to use orange as the main color.  I LOVE this page and I think it is one of my new favorites.

Sassafrass :Lass papers and things on this page.

and the 4th challenge is to use a "vintage" font on your page.  For this one I used a sketch from ACOT.  And to be honest I am not sure if it is truly vintage or not, but  . . .

Echo Park is used here.

And that is all for today.
