My reveals

Well I am being uber lazy today- have a layout laying on my table and no inspiration and no motivation.  So I am watching Ponyo with my daughter.   If you have never seen it, watch it.  Such a wonderful movie.  So while I am doing nothing- and trying not to snack- I thought, this is a perfect time to update my blog.

So here is the sketch from Scrapbook Challenges,

I LOVE this sketch and I love what I did with it.  LOL.,

My hubby and Bella at a Nationals game.  I nagged him to make sure he took lots of pictures.  And he did.  He even asked other people to take pictures of them together. Gotta love that man.

All elements, minus the alphas, are from the scrap room dot com.  And the alpahs are thickers that I distressed with ink.  The D is actually a cut C and a I.

Now on to Scrap it with a Song.  The song this week is "Life is a Highway" and here is my page

(The papers are all Echo Park and are also from the Scrap Room.)

This week we are being sponsored by Crafty Ribbons!!!

They have offered up to the winner their entire Single Hearts line!!! No need to pick from their entire color selection...they are sending them all!

So if you want to play along link up at the main blog.

My reveals.

I swear life keeps getting away from me.  Too much to do, and not enough time.  But I am getting to scrapbook some, and I am getting a much needed break from my darling girls.

So here are my two reveals.  Start with Scrapbook Challenges,  Sketch 218

And my layout- not a good picture, will re-take it at some point.

Now for Scrap it With a Song.  The Song this week is "Little Wonders" by Rob Thomas.  There is a line in the song that says, "Our lives are made in these small hours."  That line makes me think of how our lives are made up of all the little moments, the day to day activities.  So I made a two page layout with multiple photos.  And here it is

The sponsor this week is The Stamping Boutique
Store: http://thestampingboutique.com/
Challenge Blog: http://thestampingboutiquechallengeblog.blogspot.com/

They have offered up to the winner 5 digi images for your crafting pleasures!!

Scrap it with a Song - Upside Down

The song this week at Scrap it With a Song is "Upside Down" by Jack Johnson.  This is a really fun song, with a ton of possibilities.

I took the title and used pictures of my little monkey bear, Gracie.

The papers and journal card came from a kit at the scrap room.

The winner of this weeks song challenge will get a pack of primas from the owner of Scrap it with a Song, Christina.  So make sure you play.

Scrapbook Challenge Sketch 217

I got home from the beach on Saturday and almost immediately sat down to scrap. I think the week off really recharged my creative batteries. Here is a page I did for Scrapbook Challenges from sketch 217. Well, here is the sketch,

 And here is my page,

All elements, except the alphas and the ribbon are from a kit from the Scrap-Room.

A few weeks ago while I was working on a page for the SC blog hop, Bella decided she wanted to scrap too.  So I gave her a picture, some paper and some scraps and she got to work.  She gave it to her daddy now it is hanging in his office.

Hope you all decide to do the sketch and play along with us at scrapbook challenges.

Scrap it with a Song blog hop Winner

Scrap it With a Song Blog Hop

This weekend MTV will be throwing their a bash to honor the greatest and latest musicians to rock our airwaves and to celebrate that we are having our first ever Scrap It With a Song BLOG HOP!!! Stick with us as we pop in and out of each DTs blog and see what karaoke hour has to offer in their corner of blogdom. We'll be rocking out to some of our favorite musicians and some are even offering goodies to our fabulous readers in addition to the prize available on the main blog. To be in the running for the goodies on the main blog you need to complete this week's challenge found and comment on each of the DT blogs and then comment back on the main blog's hop post when you're done. The hop will last until Sunday at 8pm central time. If you found this page first, go to Scrap It With a Song and get started.

So, I love music.  And I love almost all types of music.  So, for me to pick one song or one artist is very hard.  It totally depends on my mood and what I am doing.   However, recently I drove my two girls and one of my nephews to my parents house.  On the way I started listening to some very old CDs that I burned. On one of them had  a few songs from Green Day's Dookie album.  And I fell in love with it all over again.

Seriously, I have decided that Green Day's  Dookie is one of the best albums EVER.  I love the way one song flows into the other.  One of my all time favorite transitions is from Longview to Welcome to Paradise.  It makes me move, it makes me dance, it makes me smile.

So instead of picking a song or an artist, I picked an album.  Here is my layout dedicated to Green Day's Dookie album.

Now on to my RAK.  Leave me a comment today- and make sure I  have a way to contact you- and you will be in the running for a paper pack from Rusty Pickle.  It is there Game Time line.   Here is a not so good image of it,

So I hope you have enjoyed your second stop on the blog hop.  Now it is time to rock on over to Christina and see what she has in store for you.

Scrapbook Challenges Blog Hop Winner

We have a winner for my little fall themed RAK.  Lillian Child is the winner and I have already contacted her by email.
Thanks for all those who hopped with us.

Scrap it With A Song- you will be in my heart

A quick post from the beach.  The song this week at Scrap it With a Song is "You will be in my heart" from the Tarzan soundtrack.  I am using a picture of my beautiful baby sister, Sarah and the line, "this bond between us will never be broken."  The more I look at the layout the more I think it needs something added to it.  So I may add something when I have more time after I get home.

Anyway here it is,

The sponsor this week is Sew Many Cards.  They have offered up to the winner of this week's challenge FIVE digi images from their shop.

You will have until Sunday, DATE at noon (CDT) to link up your creation at the main blog with the inlinkz app. I can't wait to see what you all do with this song. Don't forget to come back on Wednesday morning for a VERY SPECIAL SUPRISE!!!!!

Seasons of Change Blog Hop

Welcome to my stop on the "Seasons of Change" Scrapbook Challenges Blog Hop. If you found your way here by being my follower or some other way, please go back to the beginning and hop from there.

If you have already been hopping then let me introduce myself. My name is Ana White and I am so excited to be a part of the new design team at Scrapbook Challenges. I found Scrapbook Challenges back in December and just love it there. This was my third time applying for the team, and I must say that, for me, the third time was my time.

So if you haven't heard about Scrapbook Challenges before today OR if you haven't played along with us, you should definitely start now. It is a fantastic site; lots of great people, great inspiration, and great challenges.

Now, a little about me, I am a paper scrapper. I love digi pages, and I have attempted some, but they are really not my thing. I love cutting, using glue and making a mess- not so much the cleaning up part, but the making of it. I am not much of a card maker but I am trying to do more of that. So, I am a layout girl and I typically do 12 x 12 pages.

Now on to the blog hop sketch, here it is,

And here is my page,

There are a number of fabulous RAKS up for grabs during this hop, here is a list of them

1. Everyone who leaves a comment on all the blogs in the hop will be entered into the drawing to win the new "Restoration" line from Crate Paper.

2. Everyone who does a layout based on the sketch and posts it in the Hop On section gets entered into the drawing to win the new "Pixie-Licious" line from Cosmo Cricket, including a12 x 12 sheet of chipboard.
3. Everyone who joins the group this weekend gets entered into the drawing for a Prima pack.
4. Everyone who invites someone to the group this weekend, through the "invite" link on main page, gets entered into a drawing for a Prima pack.
5. There will be a fifth prize in the Hop On section. And you will have to go to the Hop On section to see the prize.

And I will offer a little RAK to all of those who leave a comment for me. A fall themed RAK that is. Here it is,

I will announce the winner early next week once the blog hop has ended. And if you are my winner, please give me about a week and a half to mail it out, as I am soon to be on vacation, if Hurricane Earl doesn't destroy the Outer Banks.

I hope you have enjoyed my blog and the hop thus far. Now it is time for you to hop on to the lovely and talented Jenn.
