In Memory of my Beloved Cousin Lynn

I don't normally share personal things on my blog, but feel inclined to do so (maybe it is all the pain meds I am on.)

My cousin Lynn passed away last night. She has been battling stage 4 brain cancer for the past two years. It happened so fast, at our family reunion over Labor Day 2008 she was nearly perfect. She is the one on the far left.
She was having a few small signs that prompted her to go to the doctor and when I saw her 6 weeks later she had lost use of her left arm and leg. After two long years and many many attempts at slowing the growth of the tumor she has left this world.

Lynn was just like her mother, the nicest person you would ever meet. She would do anything for anyone. She was sweet, non-judgemental, and accepted everyone for who they were.

She will be missed by everyone who knew, and if you knew her you loved her.

Good bye Lynn. And say hello to the three sisters and Big Lon.

  4. Oh, Ana... I just hopped over and saw that it was brain cancer that took your cousin. I lost my dad to that, too. I pray that your whole family will be at peace soon.
